About Myself

I am Reiko Fukushima. I am from Japan. I was born and raised in Saitama that is next to Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. My family is four: Father, Mother, one younger brother and me. In our house, we have three cats and we love them very much. Actually, this is the first time for me to live without cats.
I love shopping, chatting with my friends, baking and listening to music. These things make me happy. Of course, I love English too. Actually, one of my goals in the US is to be a good English speaker and writer. I know it requires me efforts, but I will do my best as I can.
I graduated my high school this March, and I came to the US to take Undergraduate program at Lewis & Clark College. This is the second time for me to visit US. Last year, I went to the east coast and got many experiences in there. During the program, we stayed at the dormitory with an American roommate for ten days. This is the first time to spend such a long time with American students, so it is too difficult for me to talk many things. Actually, this regret influenced me to decide to attend college in the US. I have not decided my major yet, but now I am interesting in international relations. I hope that I could experience many things through my college life.

I am very happy that I could take this course and share times with all of you.

Thank you for your reading.

Reiko,

Do you have an American roommate now? I am sure your experience at Lewis & Clark College is much different than your previous experience. There are not many students on campus in the summer. But wait until the fall. Campus comes alive.

So, you like cats? I am not a fan. I prefer dogs. In fact, I like really small dogs. My wife and I have a chihuahua named Blue. He is half the size of a regular cat.
